OK, now next weekend is the last stage of the preliminary cup rounds. From each of the 5 groups, the top 3 progress to the round of 16 to join defending champ @ASpeedingCar.
So the results below and this coming week are very critical in making out of the group stage and into the knockout stage.

Important wins for both Kosi and Ross as it keeps them in contention for the round of 16. Ross should be safe with that big 'For' score, and the trailing three are fighting for third place and to go through.
Laurence and Smithy also win at a vital time, and it may even be possible for Andrew to lose next week and miss the cut.

Luc wins to snare a move to the next round, while Nick also wins to keep himself in the hunt to progress. Its all over for Dem, but he can knockout another player with a win next week.
FMI and Rudi draw, but Rudi gets the win on the back of being nearer the pin across the five games. That win secures his place into the knockout stages. FMI has to wait for the other games to play. BenC's big win gives him a sniff for the round of 16, with he, the Guru and Tonii all vying for third spot.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Owing to the midweek games finishing at the end of last week, and my error in not following up on the Cup games with tipsters (no reminders or any other advice etc), the decision has been made to postpone the week 4 Cup play to a later date.
Basically, with the Mid week League play, AFLW season starting and blogging and tuning the tips for that, and my best mate back in Melbourne for the first time in a decade (🍸), there was just more on than I could handle.
Apologies to the handful that diligently tipped, and to the others, I really shouldn't be having to remind you all. But better to postpone and have decent results than nothing.
Will re-up this page at a later date with new games to tip.
