All the Asian Cup Quarter Finals have been played and its time to formalise the final standings of the Asia Series.R | M | HOME | AWAY | SCORE | RES | MRG | ||

4 | Japan | vs | UAE | 1 | 1 | D | 0 |
This made the head to heads as below:
3rd Place Playoff:
As below, both Emile and Amos had the same tips except for the Korea / Uzbekistan game. A 2 goal win by Korea was the worst scenario as it means we cannot split both players.
To make things simple it might be best to have joint 3rd place finishers rather than run a reply.

Final:
In the final, again 3 tips the same meant everything rode on the China / Australia game.
With Australia winning 2-0, the point went to The Sarge along with the title.
FINAL | @SgtButane | 2 | - | 1 | @Footy_Maths |
Congratulations to The Sarge on the first piece of 'silverware' for the FMICL season.
And with him sitting 4pts clear on the League table, it may not be the last trophy collected.
CONGRATULATIONS

All the finals tips have been lodged. Results from these will be interesting, and the results may come down to 'nett nearest the pin'

The tie breaker scenarios kick in as below.
- With other games tipped the same, it all revolves around China v Australia for the final between the Sarge and FMI.
If China wins, this puts FMI 'nearer the pin' on that game, and would award him the title by the 'nett nearest the pin' rule.
- Again in the 3rd place playoff between Amos and Amul the result hinges on Korea v Uzbekistan.
If Uzbekistan win or draw the game, Amul will win by the 'nett nearest the pin' rule.
If Korea win by 4 or more, Amos finishes 3rd.
If Korea win by 2, we cannot split both players even by the 'nett nearest the pin' rule. Luckily we have Additional games (Asian Cup Semi's) to play which could be used as a tie-breaker.
A big moment in FMICL play begins tonight.
