After a weekend of FMI football on three continents, and a series of FMICL Cup games stretching over 17 weekends, we now have established our first winner of FMICL silverware.

In a stunning regular time result, an unexpected 3-0 win secures the FMICL Cup.

Michael N wins the FMICL Cup, defeating the current League leader and hot favourite for the title. Against that form, he deprives the Sarge if a League and Cup double. And with Michael still in a race for the final eight, it opens the door for him to go for a League and Cup double.

For the Sarge, its a disappointing end to his Cup run. Regularly scoring around three in previous Cup ties, not getting on the board will be a real shock.

Match Week 36 brings us to the conclusion of the FMICL Cup after a 17 week schedule.
Facing off to win the (sadly virtual) FMICL Cup are our last two teams

Micheal N comes into the final after defeating MattB 2-1, MattG 3-0 and  AndrewM 3-1, while also sitting 9th overall in the League (13 wins, 9 draws and 13 losses).

His opponent is league leading The Sarge (19 wins, 7 draws and 9 losses), who defeated Hardsy 3-, J_F 2-1 and DemP 3-2.

Both players scoring the same overall number on the run through the early rounds.
Could we "be back here next week..."?
Or is The Sarge on his way to collect the first leg of the FMICL 2015 season Cup Minor Premiership double?


Also as part of the Cup Final festivities, we are totally FIFA'ing up the last weekend by running a 3rd place play-off... if only I could monetise like FIFA do.
