Of the key matchups in the preview...

- Micheal could only draw and so misses the finals.

- Ethan gets defeated by Henry, thereby passing over the belt, but also just holding a finals spot due to Michael's draw. Henry's win also is enough to secure the double chance.

- Ben fails to win, but Dem does. It is still enough to hold finals places.

- Emile draws with FMI so slips to 5th and misses the top 4 spot and double chance.

OK folks... you really need to pay attention to tipping this week.

1. Because the finals are just around the corner and some of you simply NEED to win, and 
2. Because I will be in Japan at the end of the week so you WONT BE GETTING reminders!

Yes... on the cusp of finals, and during them, I wont be pfaffing about on twitter much, and will some how run the comp from internet cafes and the like.

So I need your support in doing your little tipping job, to help me make it as easy as possible.

ALSO: I am modifying the rules of FINALS PLAY slightly, fearful as I am of draws.
In any normal weeks play, you tip 7 games and the total score from those 7 is used to determine wins draws and losses.
For finals, I will follow a Cup style system. The first 4 games total score will determine the winner, and if that tally is tied then each game, one by one, down the list the next three games will split the players. First to score wins.
If there is still a draw then we will follow the 'Rules' page (Finals/Cup System section 5) that says:

     d) In the event that the rules above fail to separate the players, the seasons head-to-head results will be used, with away goals counted as double points if necessary.
     e) If this has still not clearly separated the two players, a coin toss will be employed. This will only be done in the presence of another independent member of the FMICL community.

And with e), I might have to consider some other random outcome (eg: Race 7 at Sandown, odd number winning dog = player A, etc).


Anyway, enough of the boring administrative stuff.
