For those that did not see the tweets, yes I scheduled these matches a few weeks back and did not re-confirm the selections were valid. Therefore before any ball was kicked, the Rotherham / Reading game was postponed due to Readings FA Cup commitments against Arsenal.

So with one week to play, the Sarge secures the minor premiership with 67 points, four ahead of Hardsy who pushed him all the way. Well played Sarge!

Leading into the last week the field for the top 8 has also firmed up. First, in the top 4 we ca say the Sarge, Hardsy and FMI are now guaranteed a top 4 spot and the double chance.

Henry on 57 points remains vulnerable, with Emile, Ben and Dem able to displace Henry if he loses.

Henry and Emile are also guaranteed a top 8 spot as well

Outside the top 8 we see only Michael having a chance to break into the finals, with Ben, Den and Ethan all poised to fall out should they squander this weeks chance.

At the other end of the table, if we were to play a relegation system, the we would have had MattG relegated a few weeks back. Laurence would join him after this week, and the last spot would be between quite a few, but most likely MattB, Wal, J_F and the Guru.

Breathe easy guys, no relegation this year!

The belt game is Emile vs Ethan, but it is more that a little bit of side action. Ethan needs the win to hold onto a finals chance.

Other matches of interest are

- the Sarge and Dem - Sarge wins and secure the minor premiership. Dem needs the win to hold a top 8 spot.

- Sean and FMI - Sean also must win to stay in touch or even break into the final eight.

- Micheal and Amos go head to head in an early elimination final, and a draw wont help either.

- Harri needs to win every game for the finals, and so to Hardsy for the minor premiership.
